OUTFIT: Men’s Jogger Pants

Trench Coat And My Underwear

Outrageous! Is it just me or does anyone else think of this Britney Spears song when they think of trench coats? It’s actually probably just me. Aside from the fact that a few people have told me it looks like I’m gonna flash someone, I still really really love this coat! It’s the perfect length and fit to wear over anything, even a blazer or denim jacket and it’s just looks so sophisticated with its simple design. Here I wore it with a very casual on-the-go outfit. These jogger pants are basically perfect. I’ve found myself wearing them a lot more than I thought because they’re just so comfortable but don’t look sloppy. I wear them with anything from a button down to an oversized sweater and beanie like I did for this outfit. Hope you’re all staying warm during this crazy snow day. Bundle up and have a good weekend!

OUTFIT: Men’s Loungewear

Home For The Holidays

If there’s one thing I look forward to during the holidays, it’s getting to be with all my family members in one place. With everyone’s busy schedules and lives, it’s nice to know that for at least one day we’re all off of work and school and we can all just have a good time together. This Christmas I spent the day with my family in New Jersey. We decided to start a new tradition this year and wear our pajamas to celebrate. Naturally I wanted to keep things Christmas-“chic”. I mean you never know if you might need to run out to the liquor store to get more booze. So rather than getting caught in the awkward situation of going out in my Sponge Bob pj’s, I dressed in comfy loungwear that could still pass as regular attire. Sometimes all you need is a warm flannel, soft tee, and slim sweats to look put together even if you’re not planning on doing anything more than eating tons of food and opening presents. Special shoutout and thank you to my buddy Isaac of Isaac Likes who got me a pair of Ugg slippers for Christmas. I know Ugg gets a bad rap but these are seriously the warmest and comfiest slippers so don’t be so quick to judge til you’ve slipped into a pair!

I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday yesterday and spent it with the people they love. So what was the verdict for you guys yesterday? Naughty or nice? Let me know what you got from “Santa” in the comments! Merry Christmas!

Outfit: Men’s Fall Suiting

Smart Texture

Let’s. Talk. Layers. I mean aside from pumpkin everything, the best part of fall is being able to hide our “sweater bodies” under layers upon layers of clothing. One of my favorite ways to layer my outfits is by combining different textures, and with the cold months upon us, there’s no limit of options for doing just that. Here I chose to combine tailored pieces in contrasting fabrics for a smart and textured fall look. The British-inspired Carnaby Collection items in my outfit are part of the new Bar III fall lineup available at Macy’s. A wool blazer with corduroy elbow patches compliments the tweed trousers and flannel tie perfectly for a look that’s classic and seasonally appropriate. What are some of your favorite fall fabrics to layer?
