Outfit: Pops Of Color For Men

Orange Fizz

Another day, another scorcher! I don’t even know how I managed to wear a blazer. Although I usually love bold prints and bright colors, sometimes a neutral palette with small accents of color is just enough to make a statement. I kept this look muted with shades of navy, white, and gray and then incorporated touches of orange from head to toe in my accessories. Just a simple way to add some flair to a pretty basic look.

In other news, the new apartment is coming along nicely. I’m selling some old furniture, packing up, and slowly but surely making my move to Manhattan! I’ll keep ya posted on Twitter and Instagram so be sure to follow me for updates. Stay cool everyone!

Outfit: Men’s Polos & Strech Denim

Cool Rider

Bikes are like soo hot right now. I mean, with the new Citi Bikes taking over Manhattan, they’re totes the accessory of the summer.  Now I’ll admit it’s been a while since I’ve ridden a bike but I picked it back up no problem and I actually didn’t mind the “exercise.” Hellooo, you get to sit down while getting a work out - talk about an easy way to burn those cals! While taking my bike out for a ride I also got to test out 7 For All Mankind’s new luxe performance denim. They’re super stretchy and the best part is that they retain their shape and form pretty damn well, even after hours minutes of biking along the beach. They’re basically the perfect pair of pants to wear out when you finna get ya twerk on, nah mean? Super happy I now have these babies in my denim rotation.

In other news, my apartment search is over! As of July 15th, I’ll officially be a resident of New York City! More on that later though because it’s time to pack up my life and move it into one of those tiny closets that New Yorkers call an apartment. Talk about closet freaks! Anyway, wish me luck this weekend - it’s gonna be a busy next couple of days! Eek!
