Mountain Man
I can’t believe how cold it’s been lately! NYC’s had it’s first snowfall this winter and it looks like there’s more on the way this weekend. Anyway, as you can imagine it’s been a little tough to take outfit pics with the finicky weather and shorter daylight hours so here’s an outfit post based on an outfit I wore earlier this week.
The “mountain man” look is as practical as it is stylish. You can dress in rugged layers to keep warm but don’t have to look sloppy while doing it. Browse through some of my items or similar pieces below to pull off this look yourself. And be sure to follow me on Instagram (@oh_anthonio) to see more of my daily cold-weather outfits.

Brands You’ll Love

Denim & Leathers by Andrew Marc

Back in February of this year I got the chance to peek into the Denim & Leathers showroom for a glimpse at their Fall/Winter 13 collection. I love the edgy and raw feel of the brand’s aesthetic and the quality of their products. In their own words, Denim & Leathers offers “a new approach to luxury denim & sportswear, capturing the authentic character of vintage pieces, while combining a modern approach of style and functionality.”

The images above from their lookbook give you just a taste of what the brand is all about, but you can see the full F/W13 collection available for online purchase at their site HERE. And be on the look out for some great steals this holiday season. This leather moto that I’ve been lusting after since I saw it months ago in the show room is 75% off! I suggest you shop now while your size is still in stock.

Shopping Guide: Men’s Winter Accessories
Winter Wants
If the weather yesterday was any indication, winter is fast approaching! By now I’m sure you’ve already loaded up on warm sweaters and may have even found that perfect winter jacket, so now it’s time to complete the look with some new winter accessories. Whether it’s for staying warm or simply to update your outfit’s color palette to something a little more seasonally appropriate, I’ve rounded up a few items to help you “winterize” your look with some finishing touches. And if even if you’re not the type to spend on yourself, consider this a good gift guide for the upcoming holiday season.

Shopping Guide: Men’s Holiday Sweaters
Ugly Sweater Weather

One of my favorite times of the year is when the air turns crisp and cool and you can finally break out the big warm sweaters. Nothing’s easier or more comfortable than a big sweater. Crewnecks, v-necks, pullovers, cardigans, and zip-ups - there’s no shortage of options when it comes to keeping warm and cozy this fall and winter.
Around the holidays, it gets even better because that is when “Ugly Sweater” Weather begins. You all know what I mean. That time between Thanksgiving and Christmas when people bust out the holiday and ski sweaters with crazy patterns. It’s kinda hard to explain my obsession with them but you know when something is soo ugly it’s actually cute? Like pugs and chubby animals? That basically explains my obsession with “ugly sweaters.”
I rounded up some of my favorite “ugly sweaters” above. But not like your Mom’s typical Christmas sweaters. I’m talking cozy cable knits in fair isle and Nordic prints. They’re a MUST for winter, especially during the holidays. If you’re crazy about these wacky sweaters too (or well maybe just crazy like me) then check out more on my eBay collection where I’ve highlighted some fun picks.
